Port Hope Public Library provides access to g1.ca an online resource that provides G1 practice tests for anyone that is preparing for the written portion of their G1 driving exam. Students can access the e-resource on the Library website www.phpl.ca clicking on ‘Teens’. There is no charge.

We have locations in downtown Whitby and Port Hope. SAMS conducts an Ontario ministry-approved BDE (Beginner Driver Education) course, which includes 20 hours of in-classroom/online E-LEARNING instruction, 10 hours homework and 10 hours in-car (automatic transmission) 1-on-1 lessons,

SAMS offers free pick-up and drop-off (see below), defensive driving instruction, early road test when possible, air-conditioned cars, flexible lessons (weekend options), and a choice of male or female driving instructor.
